We’re glad you’re here! FUMC Kids, the children’s ministry of First United Methodist Church, Lubbock Texas, is a place where faith, imagination, and learning go hand in hand. Through creative, active, age-appropriate, and Bible based experiences, children are guided and encouraged to grow in their faith and become disciples of Jesus Christ.

FUMC Kids joyfully serves infants through 5th graders. Whether you are a first time visitor or been here since the beginning, you will sense the excitement and feel the love of Christ as you enter our doors. We are thrilled about all of the great opportunities available for your kids at FUMC Kids and look forward to seeing you soon!

FUMC Kids is lead by Director, Heather Griffis. She is joined by Kelly St. John, Children's Ministry Assistant, Maralee Barrett, Director of Childcare and Stephanie Davis, Director of Parent's Day Out. Along with this leadership, a volunteer Ministry Team of leaders joyfully serves the Children's Department.

The Children’s Department is located in our three-story Education Wing. The Children’s Education Building provides a kid friendly atmosphere for our children to worship, learn and grow. The nursery, preschool classrooms, and our Parent's Day Out classrooms are found on the first floor. The second floor contains themed rotational Sunday school rooms for 1st through 5th grade children, including a cooking room, a computer room, a theatre room, a drama room and more!
